New Accounting Standards Rile South African Businesses

The introduction of new accounting standards addressing the issue of how they account for revenue has many South African firms bracing themselves. Companies are aware of the changes; however few are fond of the impending changes.

The final standards on revenue by the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the International Accounting Standard Board are scheduled for release toward the end of year 2013.
